For those of us that need a little more 'motivation' with our exercise routines there are Personal Trainers. Our staff of fully qualified and experienced Personal Trainers can assist you with everything from re-habilitation to planning your Iron Man training.

When you start exercising at Wahoo, one of our Personal Trainers will take you through a fitness assessment, and design an exercise routine for you for free. Thereafter, should you require it, sessions are booked with the Personal Trainer and carry an extra charge.

Health and Fitness is an important aspect of life and it’s vital that a holistic approach be taken. The benefit of such a program is a change in lifestyle and the positive influence it has on a personal and business level. I studied at the University of Johannesburg(RAU) completing a BCom Hons Degree in Sport Science and have been involved in the sport and fitness industry for the last 14 years. I’ve traveled to the US and UK on numerous occasions meeting with academics and professional sports men/woman gaining vital international views and experience in this field. Therefore allow me the opportunity to introduce and establish my knowledge in the sport and fitness industry to assist you in the achievement of your health and fitness goals.

About me: Specialist in sport specific strength & conditioning and rehabilitation. I have experience with UK Athletics, England Cricket Board and British Triathlon as well as being a qualified Athletics coach, Boxercise, Kickboxercise and Spinning instructor - also involved with the 2012 British Olympic preparation camp. Training can be highly individualized to achieve your personal goals, combining weights, cardio and hard work! Additional services such as postural analysis, muscle rub downs and basic nutritional analysis are also on offer.

I am the wahoo gym manager. I run crossfit based training sessions for all fitness types. I specialize in tri athlete training with the core of my athletes been Ironman participants. Clients are taken through all aspects of triathlon training from squad swimming, to indoor training on the bikes and regular running sessions. Programs are made for each individual athlete to guide them through their training, be it for an Ironman event or a Sprint distance event. I use a crossfit based style of training for all strength aspects. My client base is a wide range from the professional athlete to the man or woman just looking to get fit in a fun challenging way. It is never easy but always rewarding!
